This September marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

American Virtual Airlines will come together on Saturday, September 12 for a special Memorial Group Fly-In honoring the victims, flight crews, first responders, families, and all those whose lives were forever changed that day.

Our flight from Boston to Washington, D.C. brings the AAVA community together in remembrance of the events of September 11 and those lost at the Pentagon and aboard American Airlines Flight 77.

*This is a memorial flight, not a reenactment. We ask pilots not to use AA11, AA77, UA175, or UA93 as flight numbers or attempt to recreate the routes or circumstances of the four hijacked flights.*

Most importantly, this is an opportunity for us to come together as an aviation community and remember the 2,977 victims, the courage of the passengers and flight crews, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the families who have carried their memory for the past 25 years.
