This event will officially be a CAT FREE EVENT, meaning pilots will be allowed to use widebody aircraft regardless of rank requirements for this specific event.

Whether you want to fly the Boeing 777, Airbus A350, 787, A330, or your favorite long-haul aircraft, this is your opportunity to enjoy a full international group flight together with the VA community.

✅ HOW TO JOIN THE CAT FREE EVENT

1️⃣ Sign up for the event through the American Virtual website under the Event Schedule / Group Flights section.

2️⃣ Bid a flight and select your departure slot.

3️⃣ Under the aircraft selection option, choose whichever aircraft you prefer for the event.

⚠️ This will be the ONLY way to ensure approval to fly an aircraft outside of your normal rank restrictions for this event.
